I'm not a fan of Yes nor Alan Parsons, but that set looks very nice indeed.

Really good, bandcamp lets you download whatever it is you bought, and they have a flac version that I was able to compare it to.
From what I've gathered, these up and coming artists can't afford to mess up the quality of their recordings, unlike when big artists just release an album on cassette (they can afford to cut corners and use horrible sounding pre-recorded albums, since die-hard fans will probably just buy the album for completion's sake.)

Roman666, that Yes Set is Awesome! I tend to really like just about all music and had the luck of seeing them a few months ago with Jon Anderson (there's two YES's touring right now). He still sounds great but the place they played had a strict 90 minute policy and I felt like they could have played another 5-8 songs.....

..and SacGuy231, those are all great finds, I'd even let Samatha Fox touch me! Most of those are great tapes that defined a generation. Most of our boomboxes and Walkmans had those tapes cranking and I love having period correct tapes for my machines!

Got these from my wife as a Xmas stocking filler. Late 80’s ARs still in their wrappers. Nice!

I kind of guessed that, based on my short experience with new releases. I think if you have a decent deck and have sosme knowledge about how to do a good recording, buying the download and doing yourself is probably more worth...

I built a cassette wall of my original cassettes from 80's and 90's I just cannot part with them, I am mastering them to DAT so I can enjoy them and compare my sources. My Mini Disc collection lying on the floor.

Van halen 1.png Van Halen 2.png Yesterday, I bought a batch of cassette tapes which were edited here in Spain by WEA Records called "Dos en Uno". I bought "Fleetwood Mac+Rumours", "Desperado+One of These Nights", "Van Halen+Van Halen 2" "Breezing+In Flight" and "George Harrison+Thirty Three & 1/3". Funny Things, in a cardboard box with the same cover and a back cover showing both albums and the track lists.

Its still fairs well, but the vinyl I have also is just in another league. Most people back in the day had entry level players and boomboxes to be fair..

I would say if you have room, don't give them away.

I have some embarrassing stuff in my collection, but still i would not give them away as everything in my collection says something about me at the time i bought them. :nodding:
