    Hey,
take a look on that little beauty, which I repaired in 2013 for a good friend from munich:

It seems to be a regular TPS-L2, right?
    But heres the backside:

Nice, those cost a fortune on eBay!

Oh ok, it's probably quite low. This one sold on eBay recently for €571.57 :shock and it has a serial of about 27000.

My TPS-L2 isn't a 'guys and dolls' version but it still has quite a low serial number of about 56000

[QUOTE = "Chris, post: 12037, membro: 528"] Uau, isso está em excelente condição! [/ QUOTE]

Obrigado Chris. Meu TPS L2 não arranha. Limpo e brilhante. Foi o meu primo que me deu. Graças a Deus. Obrigado, primo, você cuidou bem deles há anos.

The allocation of the serial number of TPS-L2 is not traceable.
For example: I noticed that the deepest numbers have those units with brown leather case.....

That's indeed a truly rare unit. As far as I know, only few units were made during the first months of production until they changed to the less cool A & B.
I knew about this rare unit because of @renzgi in a post in the old forum, so thanks Renato!

I've seen a 'guys and dolls' with a serial of approx 27000 listed on eBay recently.

This Japanese Blog confirms the 30,000 number, but who really knows. (use google translate if you can't read it) Great find! I would love to find one of those in the wild around here, I have to believe they're still around, and I just saw that Pawn Stars, cool episode!

By translating this "GUYS & DOLLS" it means "bastards and women", and Sony's message such as "Please enjoy (with couples) with two people"
