I must be mad this cost me a small fortune, but I've wanted one ever since I got my M7900 about 10 years, love the blue colour very happy to finally have one. It needed a good clean and belts doing of course a real pain as they had turned to goo, so here it is:
That's an absolute gem. Always liked this model and the blue sets it off perfectly. What was the other Sanyo mid-sized micro that came in like a burghundy colour?
Looking at it more, your M7900 is really quite beautiful. The Asian script adds to it's charm. Sanyo were truly the kings of the mini
Thanks everyone, it is a beautiful mini, yes Sanyo were the kings of minis they made so many great models, I have the burgundy M7880 another very nice one.
wow. We need more pictures of these beautiful minis the red one is very beautiful SANYO minis are the BEST
Both beautiful mini's, I love the blue V8 as its so unusual but that burgundy is also stunning, as AO said Sanyo were the kings of minis, closely followed by Panasonic maybe who made some stunners to
It's funny that the rarest Japanese Made Boxes still have English Labels, when you find one with Japanese Labels then you have the rarest of the rarest! To top it off it has the full FM bandwidth, normally associated outside of Japan.
I wonder if this is a series put out by Sanyo using very shiny bright colors and a plastic finish normally associated with cheap toys. I bought a red Sanyo Boombox, posted in another thread, that has all of the same design cues. Without reading past reviews on S2G I might have overlooked it but I got it and they are really nice boxes. You can see the top design is a complete departure from the Mark II Version. Personally I'd take any of the them.
