Great box hugo, im glad there are boxes still out there that you want, when you have been in this game as long as we have it can sometimes get a little stale for us my friend, im not sure what other boxes id like apart from a crown 970 and a working m90 since i have all the boxes i wanted from my youth, a pc55 id like one of those but iv had em and the sound disapoints me as well as those displays are always blown. Anyway great box my friend and a happy new year to you:)

Welcome back Chris, great to have you back. Not so keen on the black one but something has to be done with the yellowing on mine, possibly baking soda, i dunno:)

    Thanks guys,
RadioRaheem Happy new year to you too, and the whole gang.
This aiwa is a classic one, all I can say right now is that is a very good sounding unit,
Sounds as good as the Panasonic 6400 loud and clear,
I am really looking forward to clean and play with this unit, (mini stereo).

Deliverance, most of the 3 piece units sound good ,
This aiwa sounds better than the Sanyo C9.

Awesome Compo Patron, I was going to bid on that and forgot the time and missed it by an hour. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Panasonic is more of a micro-stereo, while a desirable unit, the lack of handle and shear size would change the classification. Several micro-systems offered a battery-component option, although usually an add-on and not integrated.

I agree Mr x, i wouldn't class this panasonic as portable i thought it was 8" deep but it's more like 12" deep so being portable would have been out of the question. She turned up guys decks need sorting as to be expected so another for the que

My red panna rx c 52 turned up too only one slight problem with that is that the speakers had been soldered out of phase

which was easily sorted, what a flipping beautiful box. i remeber Ao had the red one years ago which he had very cheap but then sold her, well mine is here to stay lads haha cheers:)

I'd still jump on it if there was an opportunity. There's a Marantz MS 300 in Italy up for bid right now, same sort of system, if it was a little more reasonable and didn't have to get shipped around the world I'd be all over it, looks like one of the larger boomboxes without a handle.
