A few photos of yesterday’s party. Not a lot of people (tomorrow monday is holayday and many people went away) but it was a LOT of fun. I definitely will be going to do it again. Wait a bit, I'll tell you new dates on juny and july just incase any of you can come here to have a good night ;-)
Nice!, Wish I Were There What was the rest of the sound system? All yours or did you plug into theirs? What was your playlist? Great way to make The Cause visible to the not (yet) converted!!!
One of these days I'm going to show up, out of the blue, cuz I love Barcelona and Damn Beer....and I'm not saying this because I love one or the other, but it would be really cool if you had some big boxes behind the DJ booth. It makes me think of when I do have a garage sale and I put "vintage electronics" in the ad, then everybody and their brother shows up. Marketing-wise you'd have the same thing, my opinion is not biased since I own both and love what your doing.....
I took my superD6C, a TPS-L2 (which you can see both there) and the TC-D5M just to re/wind tapes and prepare them to put into the walkmans to play. Both them performed flawlessly for 5 unstopped hours. I also took a DD33, DD30 and PX101 just in case, as well as enough rechargeable AAs (I always use rechargeable). People were impressed about how they sounded. Almost 80-90 of the music were recorded from vinyl, BTW.
Really? I'd be so glad. You'll be very welcomed here That is a good idea. However, I don't have any of those "classic" boomboxes to show. Just a Toshiba 933 brand new that I prefer not to take there just for safe. Also, I went alone and fully loaded with a big travel bag full of stuff. I could not take another box, but if in the future I have a friend tha helps me, I can search a way to do that.
