Then your best choice is a DD33. Look for a gray one which is cheaper then silver or dark blue color. Best place to find it is Ebay Germany. Somehow You can find more DD walkman on Ebay Germany than any other auction site. Also, read the following topic which it can gives you a lot of reliable information about DD walkmans:

Ah the opinions flood in but yes mostly I agree. My daily is the DDII with, believe it or not, a cheap pair of Koss porta pro headphones. It just works nicely. Personally I hate noise reduction of any sort because it comes at a cost. The highs get clipped.
Don't bother with DD1, DD10,DD11 or DD22. All were budget models and not great examples.
The last good DD I agree was the DD33. A fair bit easier to obtain too than a DC2 that I am yet to find!.

Any thoughts on the DD10? I don’t see it mentioned here.

Listed above. The DD10 is one of the budget models. I would not buy one unless you know it's been recapped. Even so I would still go for the DD33 or DDII if it's your first DD. These are robust with very good sound. You may have to accept the center gear issues. Only once have I seen an intact center gear in a DD Walkman after 30+ years.
