Hi Sergiu. Thanks for replying. I have a Sony dc-2 and a Sony tc-d3 tape walkman that i bought back in the eighties which both have the dreaded brocken centre cog. The tape counter on the tc-d3 also does not work but still plays tapes no problem but i do not use it. In my frystration years ago i opened up the dc-2 to try and see what the problem was. Found out the problem but realised i could do not do anything and in the process i lost 2 or three of the tiny screws that hold down the printed circuit board. So has been left in its box for many years. I would just like to know if you can possibly repair these walkmans for me. I just want to be able to listen to my 2 favourite walkmans again. Do i need to send one at a time or both together? .do i need to send them in original boxes or just with pienty of bubble-wrap etc? Do i need to write anything on the parcels etc? I shall be sending my units to you as soon as i can but as i said before iv'e had to spend a lot of money renewing my wife's residentcy permit which has left me rather short at the moment. Hi Sergiu. Sorry for not being in contact with you but I so want to get my 2 special units repaired. 1-dc-2. Brocken centre cog, missing 3 or 4 screws. Assuming pinch roller a d head are ok a d general clean up needed. 2- Sony TC-d3. Brocken centre cog. Tape counter not working. General clean up required. As you know I am struggling financially at the moment but could you give me a estimate as to how much it would cost( in English pounds) to get repaired. I know this is a difficult question but it would give me an idea a d allow me to see if I could afford it. Thank you, Derek.
