Selling My RX505E, please DM me and make me an offer. Happy to swap with a mint condition high end portable dat recorder with everything complete and boxed.

My RX505E which is being used as a source playing out an original 80's Madonna Ferro tape and it sounds brilliant, Mint condition and everything works. I just dont play it much anymore.

Beautiful!!! I am afraid even to ask about the starting price... my LX-5 with $500 cash resto from Willi Hermann sounded Heavenly, but this is in a totally different league... Once I rebuild my burned home, this will be on my To Buy! list

 

Nakamichi RX-505 - in my eyes the better deck than the highly over-rated Dragon - great deck, good luck

 

Some of these are going for £1200.00, mine was overhauled by Bowers and Wilkins and is perfect running, its in VG condition with a few light scratches that can be easily repaired. Its a beautiful deck I just have too many of them. You would be surprised at how little difference there is on the LX-5 and RX505E Naks have a very similar sound, just ask @Oswaldo Martinez .

"Classic" cassette mechanism in LX-5/LX-3 is difficult to beat, and RX-505 has the same mechanism. But watching how RX-505 flips the cassette must be Fun!!!
