What are the 4 small holes on the right side of your RQ-568? Is that just the condensor mic?

Yeah. I thought that was the case as well, but the sticker o the motor was false hope. Nothing was under it. I'll go look more closely, perhaps. Though it's worth noting that with the right belt size, I don' need to actually adjust the speed. So it's just a matter of my curiosity.

Correct! One for the mic, and three more fakes just for looks :)

Hope to get it in one piece, and the price seems pretty fair to me: under $200 with shipping. Would be nice to get one for $20 but I just could not wait for a "deal", esp after reading @Reli note that it compares favorably to RC-550 - RF-5410

Mine was just that sort of a "deal" you mentioned :wink2 But it seems that it's more dead than I hoped. I'm not that comfortable fiddling with the electronics, so I may have to send this to someone to repair...

@stuck-in-time do not rush sending it out, once I upload my resto efforts on RF-5410 maybe it will help you. What is wrong with yours?

@Reli you mentioned Service Manual for RQ-568, I know that I emailed you about it a few weeks/months ago but if you managed to find Service Manuals for RQ-568 and RF-5410 I would like to buy them.

There's a couple sources online for the RF-5410 manual.
But the RQ-568 was only sold in Japan, right? So Yahoo Japan is probably the only place you'd find a manual for it. I did find this image of the front cover on Google, which is how I got the specs:

I'll definitely look forward to seeing that, then!
