I need to find a replacement belt set or a replacement A deck for a Sony cfsw360. There are several used boomboxes on eBay but not a deck, please contact me if you find belts or a decent priced replacement deck
Since no one else has replied, there has been a big debate going on about belts here http://www.stereo2go.com/forums/threads/30-new-belts-for-less-than-2.5644/#post-42308 I think people are fed up with talking about belts. I am of the opinion that the best thing is to buy a cheap pack of mixed belts to get the stereo going and check if there are any other problems. Even if the cheap belt only last a year or two you then know whether it is worth investing in better quality ones.
It's kind of a entry-level boomer so they tend not to have a ton of information available. Some of the early boomers went for hundreds of dollars and people would pay to have them fixed, the models from the mid-80's on were much less expensive and didn't have all of the big features and usually got put into radio-only duty once the cassette decks died. I doubt you'll every find a replacement deck, but you should be able to find a belt, I'd go Longman's route and buy the pack. When you take it apart, try to measure the old belts for the correct size.
