    I think I saw Sharp with a woofer instead of LP, but maybe it is just my wishful thinking?

    There is a similar looking Amstrad with a fold down turntable which also got sold as a different make with a woofer in place of the turntable.

    YES!!! it checks all the boxes in my 'dream-bbox' list: one-piecer, single cassette, piano keys... Does not look like you can just go and buy this Unix, whatever the price o_O

    The UNIX pops up for sale every once in a while on Yahoo.jp, I don't think they show up anywhere else, the turntable version was sold here and maybe the big boomers but I don't think there's a USA Version.

    The Toshiba KT-R2 is one of my favorite recording models, brick size but they made it easy to lay on it's side and it looks really cool with the AM or FM cartridge. I think most of these shipped with the FM cartridge, so it's pretty common but the red AM cartridge is nearly unobtanium and fun to occasionally look for. This is only the second I've seen come up for sale in a few years, more might have but I don't actively look for it. This one is really neat because it has the original box with it, for both the player and the cartridge. This is a JDM Unit and you'll pay up for it but it has all of the packaging. There's other listing for the players, still a bargain in the portable world.
