    Thanks!

Yes, that's right. Soldering there was not easy but it finally got stuck.

    Absolutely amazing refurb!
Not much more to say that has already been said!
Could you tell me what type of adhesive or tape you used when you put the radio panel back on?
    Thanks for sharing!

I'm pretty sure 3M makes the best two-sided tape, find something thin and be careful, it's very sticky. My neighbor worked for them and told me about all of the cool tapes they made, I didn't know it but high-rise buildings with all glass might have the windows taped on! He said that was very common now-a-days.

You might want to use something easier like a rubber cement, if you don't like it, you can peel it off.

For the quantity you would need to repair a walkman go on Ebay (or maybe Amazon) and search for 3M Mobile Phone tape (maybe cellphone in the USA). It is commonly used for holding the displays in after repair.

Thanks for the suggestions. I needed something to stick the direction panel back on to my sony f100 that goes over the cassette hole. Using 3M tape would probably be the easiest solution and would be pretty decent but if I wanted a more permanent solution I have e6000 which is similar to rubber cement.

I was not aware that all glass buildings had their glass taped on.:scratch2:

3M probably is one of the best ones. I'm using a good double tape that is used in photography to stick photos to rigid bases, but I don't know the brand...

Great job, looks fantastic. Seems this model has a similar transport to the WM-2091...

Did you essentially retrobrite the unit? It looks shiny and new, really neat!

    Common issue with retrobriting indeed.
