I had the phillips 8958 far to plasticy and creaky and the Panasonic cd70 had poor sound quality but looks way cool, such a shame about the sound quality

I never could embrace rounded corner design touch, the Philips rounded everything on that box and it make it look mid-level. Even today, all of those round cars that came out in the early 90's are no-where to be seen now, some got lucky if they had more HP than normal but most are long forgotten.

It took me a while to realise the seller is in India. There are some really cool items including a WM100 but many take "roached out" to a new level. It wouldn't surprise me if they are being dug up from the local rubbish dump.

Yep, it's wild all of the nice units but good luck finding one without damage. Maybe they have an electronic's dump, there is probably an interesting story in here.

They might not even have originally been sold in India. Need a spare part for a Cruise liner ?

looks like a trove huh! one does wonder about humidity tho... its a real monster on teeny things that capillary action can wreck havok upon. I enjoy watch fettling when im not grafted to my soldering iron or deafening meself listening to outrageous music in traffic at speed on my bike... ive got a less than 50% success rate with ebay items from India. Which is saddening as ive allways found helpful and informed sellers... Theres customs and excise too once the items make it here... so random tax penalties thanks to Brexit. I despair.....
    looks like yacht bits then

Too expensive for Mission Impossible or the Thunderbirds space station.
It wouldn't surprise me if it cost the same in real terms new.
Only affordable by the real Q's department.
