Basically, my lid spring popped off and I can't seem to place it back into place for some time now. I can really use some help with this problem. Thanks in advance
I am pretty sure this player just uses the cheap "Thread in the spring" door mech which can be frustrating. It sounds like just the spring has popped out and you aren't able to put it in its current state. If this is case then you might have to take the door off or observe a manual of how to get down to a convenient location to put the spring in. Either way it is always a bit tricky and can take time. I am not a fan of dealing with taking apart door mechs on cheaper walkmans.
Man, just saying the name of the mech saved me a lot of time wasting wondering where the spring was supposed to go. I fixed it several hours ago and everything is fine for now. This mechanism is so flimsy, I'll probably have to put it back again when I go to open it again. Again, thanks a lot!
