Managed to pick up this mint condition crown cd-10 for what i thought was an amazing price.
certainly as its working and not plagued by the center cog issue. 3778C849-0889-48E0-AAE3-4EC0904F0D9B.png

Crown CD-10 is a rare find indeed! Re-badged Sony D-88 which usually go for waaay over $500, this is a lucky buy!! And lucky me that I missed that listing, otherwise I'd had to bid against you

Very nice and very rare. I've been posting Crown Ads down in the brochure section but none of these have shown up.

It came next day delivery, its in amazing condition.
Will post some pictures at lunchtime.
there are actually a good few difference between this and the d-88.
The biggest for me is the d-88 power supply will not work in the cd-10.
I have plenty of batteries that kaosuncd done for me so not an issue.
will let the pictures do the talking later.
If you know where to look you still find them, only last week i missed out on one on yahoo japan.

That is a very nice collection @Thomas Monteith !
I just purchased this thin Sony CD Walkman D-EJ925, with remote and headphones and dead gumstick batteries.

Edit: the D-EJ925 is the version released for the Chinese market; international versions are labeled D-EJ999.
I was a bit worried that I received the French version given the very limited headphone output of 2 x 0.5mW compared to 2 x 5mW for all other versions.
Using passive speakers on it confirms that it is not the French version - adequately able to drive this speakers to a proper volume.

Testing it now with replacement batteries, Europe sounds like, well Europe :)

I know its off the general theme but picked up 2 seiko tv watches recently.just love the form factor of these,so much so i have my own analogue tv transmitter hooked upto a blu-ray player in my shed!
so i can sit back and watch my old watchmans and these watches in good old analogue quality.
    i just love everything 80s

Great stuff Thomas Monteith! It looks like my office but you have some real gems in there. Two TV watches! I can't find one, nor have I ever seen one up close, amazing.

Here is an interesting item i picked up from japan
    not seen it before.
    a Sony MSV-A1
its a handheld tv shaped like an old flip phone.
    Pointless but extremely cool.
