Some Halloween Scary Goodness! Dokken Dream Warriors, from Nightmare on Elm Street 3 John Carpenter Assault on Precinct 13 Dio, Holy Diver
KINO - Restful Night (in Russian) The band's lead singer died in 1990 in a car crash, and the band effectively disbanded for thirty years. Here, the remaining members are playing live over recorded vocals.
You guys are playing the soundtrack to when I had my Nissan Coupe. Here is another one which even features an 8 track
Seven or eight seconds, from 0:08 to 0:15 get me every time. It kinda flattens further on, but the intro I like! BAD BOYS BLUE - PRETTY YOUNG GIRL EDIT: right, I remember the intro was longer, four bars not two. And there is also an instrumental section in the middle. The lyrics is silly as in most pop songs. In Russia we have a term for it, "popsa" pronounced "pop-SAH". This means generic, simplistic, repetitive, cringeworthy music and lyrics. This is a decent "popsa", although it depends on whoever you ask
I haven't heard that one before but it reminds me of If you went on holiday to Spain in the late 1980s you were guaranteed to hear this in a club. I have a whole CD of Europop. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Viva-Europ...M,B083XRVS8L,B083XNNRNQ,B083XR4JRK,B083XNNRMR
Modern Talking were huge in Russia. Thomas Anders still comes with shows. Decades of government-supported broadcasts of classical music did not help People love chewing gum like this. I do too. I had six full albums of Modern Talking back in the day. Here is some "popsa" from Secret Service - Night City.
Last one from me for tonight as it is 11pm here. I'm not sure if this would class as Disco but it was certainly big in the clubs here
Shannon above is not Disco, it is Latin Freestyle, just like Taylor Dayne. Ok, here is my Latin Freestyle videomix. YouTube blocked the first version, one year after I uploaded it! This sucks. So I had to use crappy versions instead of official music videos in my updated mix, also removed some and added other. I posted it, then figured I was spamming too much so I removed it, but the songs above tell me that someone likes Latin Freestyle
Bass-O-Matic - Fascinating Rhythm. Another one from when I had my Nissan. I was thinking about why I find these songs so nostalgic. The 1988 Nissan was the last car I had with a cassette player. It also had a great factory fitted sound system. Back then most filling stations had a selection of cassettes and when they were reduced they were half the price of CDs so I bought quite a lot. Cassettes were also very convenient to use in the car. Just grab a selection of cassettes before a journey and keep pushing them in. Although I bought CDs of some of my favourite cassettes including this one, there are others which I probably haven't played since I replaced that car in 2002. I am sure @Ken80s will enjoy having a cassette player in his Honda
