    The most interesting other photo is this one which shows that at the asking price it has depreciated over the last 41 years.

    That's neat, it's an early one "Made In Japan" Stickers all over it, I wonder how much different it is than the made in UK Versions. They weren't cheap but they were impressive looking, over here someone would have more likely bought something like a Pioneer SX-650 package deal for the same price.

    Super rare AIWA TPR-104 Old-School Recorder that normally would be ...ok...nice?... but this has a built in radio! Pretty unique for it's age with FM only; I don't remember FM before 1978 and it was only classical music at that time but it blew up right away and put AM in the rear-view mirror. For the collector, you won't find many more of these, this might be the grand-dad of mono boombox, it even has a speaker out jack.

    Sears SR-2100 Boombox, I'm over on Vintage Machinery Website and they don't list "560" for any manufacturer which would rule out: Sanyo, Sharp, Goldstar, Panasonic, Toshiba and most of the other big guys. Toshiba at "562" is the closest and it kind of looks like a Bombeat, maybe? The meters and dial are really close to Sony Blue, does anybody know the manufacturer of this beauty?

    many different models come out with the same wording (sears sr 2100) also on Ebay

    ... on ebay some photos show the back label with the Boombox data ... and I understood that each model refers to a numerical code ... Then some are made in Japan, others in Hong kong .. Etc ..... In the end, looking for something else, I ended up on a page of Radiomuseum and I think it can come in handy

    The complete model number is 560.21990350, and it is also nicknamed the SR-2199
    In Eastern Europe there was a version called the Asahi RD-820
