Great photos Reli, I'd love to know more about the unit, it wasn't too expensive but it looks like a later model of the CH-Series with bi-amped speakers? MiniDisc was doomed here because of the price, it was so expensive when new, 2-3x any other portable player. The CD player was the other choice and it was starting to really drop in pricing. Blank MDs were expensive but you could get CDs from BMG and Colombia House Mail Order for really cheap, something like 8 for the price of 1?

Toshiba RX-1900 from 1981, JDM Version, huge two-page ad from Popeye Magazine. I love these RX Models, maybe their the opposite of the tiny Walkmans they still have very nice build quality. I wish I could read the print, I'm assuming EAH-111 is the Headphones? That's a neat looking case, it looks clear on the front?

A cool ad found over on Pinterest, a Technics Turntable with a National MAC ST-3. The FM transmitter was really cool, I think it was illegal to use in the USA and other countries so it tends to be rare. I can't read the ad but is the boombox branded National or Technics?, if it's a Technics, I believe it's the first in their line up but my guess is National/Panasonic.
