As you may remember i bought 2 of the nicer looking philips but they turned out to be a waste of money
Some of Sony Ericsson's Walkman phones from 2007. That was the same year that Apple launched the iPhone, although even in 2011 they hadn't reached Argos. They were selling locked Pay As You Go Phones; Pay £60 for your W600i and if you decide you just want to use it as an MP3 player that is fine by us. Now it is "Listen to Music - As long as you have credit on your phone"
Your chance to buy a brand new one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/294443395334?hash=item448e31a906:g:hgsAAOSwttphXcQL Whether it would still work on US networks I don't know. My Sony phone of a similar vintage works here, but I did get it unlocked so it can use any SIM.
One September 2024. I just sold this today and I was just searching around for threads but I'll probably make my own It's a Sony net MD Walkman and the model number is mz -nf520d
Not really a Walkman but a cool data unit called Discman. These are pretty rare, I've got the folding version, this is so much nicer.
That one is fancy! Here are some I could find in a few minutes, not in boxes . The DVD unit does not need an external mechanism and comes with a nice stand. Edit: the Vaio HDD unit has a crazy UI, and different 7p remote than the normal remote (close, no cigar), and of course the obligatory stand.
Stand by me, I saw them standing there, they’re still standing .. anyway, I love a good stand. It makes them stand out.
