Eno Ambiant.jpg Eno Turntable.jpg Not long ago I was asked at work if I wanted to help with a Brian Eno exhibition, setting up and playing records with the Brian Eno designed turntable. They did not have to ask me twice, I said yes.
This exhibition is popular with people request what I play, my running order is now out of sync.

    Play list was

Brian Eno – Ambient 4: On Land
Mark Fisher & Justin Barton – On Vanishing Land
Burial – Come Down to Us
Destroy All Monsters – Hot Box
Little Axe – Stone Cold Ohio
    Owada – Nothing
    Richard Prince – Loud Song
    Rammellzee & K-Rob – Beat Bop
Steve Reich – Reich / Richter
    Steamboat Switzerland – Terrifying Sunset
    UJ3RK5 - UJ3RK5
    Play list was
Brian Eno – Ambient 4: On Land
Mark Fisher & Justin Barton – On Vanishing Land
Kevin Ayers, John Cale, Eno & Nico – The end

Anyway, it’s going on now and the first record I played was Brian Eno – Ambient 4: On Land

Derek you have not heard about it, as it’s more of a functional art. They are all sold already, I believe they kept 2 back. They are £20000 each.
I’ll give it one thing, it looks good. :nwink:

I'm thinking how good it would look playing transparent vinyl with a Mathmos Faze3 in the background.

Yes its expensive but to me it makes far more sense than spending five times the price on an NFT.

Longman, one of the records I played on it was the Loud Song by Richard Prince, the record was white and it looked good on it.
You are correct with this at least you have something tangible. NFT you have nothing, or nothing of real value anyway.

A link to the gallery I work for Eno turntable

Beautiful table! There's nothing better than taking a virgin table with a platter of music!

I was back out in the shop tonight, I cracked open this gem from the 70's, Parliament cranked out some awesome funk, even a very young boy like me loved some of their songs way back then. I was really enjoying hearing this again and I got a ton cleaned. For baseball fans, this is from the Molitor Household, it was his sister's album (her name is written on the front), since I was the dumping ground for albums in the early 2000's I got a small collection from the family. They were probably cranking this when he was still in college kicking butt in baseball!

Sure there was a ton of carbon-copy disco music but KC and the Sunshine Band was one of the best, personally I think Boogie Man might be the best disco song of all time, this album has three classics, maybe more.

Late night having fun out in the shop, I need bigger speakers, maybe more watts, I'm missing some midrange, maybe I'll move the ADS's over to the desk. Meanwhile I'm still loving my album collection, next up is Rainbow, Bent Out of Shape, oh man Street of Dreams still sounds great but I did play this at a hockey game and the kids had no idea who it was.
