    The only thing I ever bought in Rumbelows was the Mitsubishi VCR mentioned in another thread which cost me £340 back in Dec 1984.

    I had hoped to get a Fisher Top Loading VHS at the special price of £299 from Laskys, but when I got there at about 11:00am
    on the first day of the "January sales" they had sold out !

    Thats pretty typical. The Mitsubishi would have been a good purchase though, they made some good machines!

    I don't think i have had anything this low end before lol i like the tosh tho it looks like an imatation m90 in the pic:wink:

    In the pic maybe, but in the flesh it is a very cheap looking machine! But that's fair enough, it was a cheap machine! Sounded better than some of the other cheap machines of that time as well! This lot are low end even for Rumbelows, they did actually sell some pretty decent stuff as well! Don't ever remember them selling M-90's though!:biggrin:
