I’ve posted on another thread that if finally tracked down an Australian F-80 (240volt)

So a question… How do you replace the batteries in thwalkman part? I don’t see a battery door. Surely you don’t need to take it apart to change batteries, and I assume it’s not rechargeable.

I did a YouTube search and there’s only a couple of videos, @Cassette2go has one of those videos and even he couldn’t find the door.

I got mine apart and put new belts in it but I didn't take enough pictures because I broke the wire going to the motor from the circuit board so I don't know exactly where it goes. I think I do but I didn't take enough clear pictures so mine is in pieces right now. It's it's complete with new belt in it but I don't know where the motor wires go and I did find a better compartment. It's in a little tiny slide off. I'll show you in a couple pictures

Overview didn't let me give you a close-up of where the battery goes.

The battery goes in here under this sliding panel. 17211221356788112369265760193076.jpg
If anyone's interested in this I'll send it to them. Just send me an email and you can have it all and then the bags are all the screws and such. You just have to figure out where the wires go to the motor. It's got all new belts in it.

This back panel is so very hard to see but this one is a 100 volt Japanese domestic model I guess,
