    From 1990, this is a two part ad and I don't think the YST-C11 has batteries, so it's not really a portable but still nice looking.

    The audience don't seem to be quite as raucous as the ones on Top of the Pops

    By the way, Sharp is contracted to produce the product. Many of Yamaha's audio products were manufactured by Sharp, so AST was also used in some of Sharp's products. (Joint development) Personally, I would have liked to see a Yamaha version (OEM) released on the QT-77CD. Since it has a similar world view to the C30, I don't think it would be embarrassing to release it as a Tiffany Mini.

    I love those speaker stands, doing a few inflation calculators, 178,000 yen is $1517.00 USD today for the AST-C30, wow, mega money.

    I always think of it as "Apple Money".
    People who spend that kind of money on Apple products now were spending it on Yamaha, Sony, or B&O back then.
