In this thread just click on his name that you want to have a conversation with and should pop up with his name and all that and the way to directly communicate with him. Understand. Good day

While I see the option when I click on your user name I cannot see same option with @givemeyourwalkmans , please see below. Not to worry, I managed to contact him over email.

@givemeyourwalkmans - on your website in the contact area where you have listed your email address - there is unnecessary space in the address :)

I'm going on vacation again for 1 month. So (probably) won't be answering any emails during that time.

If anyone is interested still on any of the models on my site, all of them are working and are in otherwise flawless condition.
Please just send me an email:

    tapefactor.proofs 093@passinbox.com

    Remove the space :)

I have now sold the Sony WM-F701C.

Sad to see it go, but very happy to hear the story behind why this person wanted it. It went to a self-titled Korean "Old Boy" who is replacing the Walkman his father got him as a gift, when he was a kid.

Sold with all its original accessories, papers, box, etc. in flawless brand-new basically unused condition.

I am still selling all the other models on my site except the EX9 and EX2000.

Sorry for taking so long. Life has been quite busy: tapefactor.proofs093@passinbox.com

I am also moving out of Europe by the end of this month.

This is the LAST chance to get some of the models on my site, in perfectly restored condition without having to pay additional import VAT or duty.
Please note that I can, have and will continue to (however humanly possible) do whatever I can to help buyers avoid such fees.

    Please contact via email.

Hey all, I wanted to specifically post here about what a great experience I had buying from givemeyourwalkmans - specifically his red Sharp JC-K99. Holy crap, he's not kidding about these things being museum-tier.

To be honest, it was his other thread about top walkmans that led me to even be aware of the K99. Actually, before that I had tried purchasing an EX2000 off of ebay (also inspired by that thread), and it ended up definitely being not up to the standard I was expecting and knew it could be (despite being serviced, it definitely needed more work done, likely a cracked gear). I probably would have tried to buy his EX2000, but he's not letting that go, ha! And originally when I reached out I was curious about his DC2 (and I might still be...) but through a bunch of conversation, which I was really grateful for because I'm learning a ton about this stuff, I realized I definitely was interested in something super compact that sounded great, and there's nothing else out there like the K99.

Needless to say, I am impressed. I took a bunch of photos of it when it arrived, because I was so stunned at the condition it was in (this is a device from 1990!) - not to mention it was complete in box with all the original materials. And it sounds phenomenal. Like, did I mention museum-quality? But you can bet I'm putting it to a lot of use.

He also shared a report from when it was serviced by Valentin, as well as videos of it working and all that. And shipping to the US, if you haven't heard by now, is a freaking nightmare at this moment, but he was able to graciously navigate that flawlessly. (Dare I even say shipping was fast? All things considered...) And the price was extremely reasonable, especially considering you know exactly what you're getting from such a reputable member of this community. eBay feels like SUUUCH a crapshoot in comparison.

Not only was it a great purchasing experience it has also just been a joy conversing, so thank you, givemeyourwalkmans.

Just wanted to share that in case anyone might have been thinking about it. Highly recommended.

It still seems slow going though. Some months ago I tried to get to an actual list of the walkmans for sale... trying to find the site... then navigating the site... then if I remember correctly there were no prices listed... just lost interest climbing over all the hurdles and obstacles to be honest  (Though I guess it is a good "filter" to weed out the scammers?)

Hi, I'm not sure what the problem you're having is? I'm sorry to hear that it wasn't easy for you. Could you please share some feedback as to what I could improve to make it a bit easier to navigate? After clickong on my site, it's one click to "Contact" and my email is right on that page. It's also only one click to "Walkmans" which has everything displayed as a gallery. :)

All my models are here and I included extremely high definition photos of all of them: https://tapefactor.neocities.org/walkmans/gallery

I don't have set prices for any of the devices.
As Toupee mentioned, I generally do whatever I can to help people avoid ridiculous taxes or shipping issues and I am happy providing whatever proof, tests etc. that people ask for. Haven't had any complaints so far.

Whilst I don't have a huge collection and my devices aren't what some would call 'cheap'. I can confidently say that I have not found anything in remotely similar quality (exterior and interior) on the likes of eBay, Vintage sites or proxies. So you get what you paid for.

I am not super active on this site but always respond to email within a very short period.

It's good, the site is clear and easy, was just over analyzing or expecting a more complicated process
The DC2 there is intriguing, but honestly, I lost interest in walkman's altogether these days.

Listening to a rebuilt re-capped upgraded and calibrated Nakamichi ZX-7 was a spiritual experience that left walman's in the dust including even the D6C that Valentin did a full restoration / upgraded op amps etc., on. The first thing one notices is the layers of rich bass that wash over and around the notes without obscuring or distorting... the rather voluminous and wide soundstage...and from the abyss like depths of which issue holographic like layers of sound etc., You know, all that kind of audiophile nonsense that one reads about on the internet, which can safely be dismissed as hyperbole rubbish

You almost had me there for a second. I was wondering if you were being sarcastic or not.

Naks are great, I just wish they didn't have the Nak gap. These days I am on the move constantly so I need to take some of my music with me and rotate through the part of my collection I keep for personal use.

if I am just at home, I'd rather also use a Tape Deck for personal listening.
