I bought the first one in 1986, and the 11 others in the last 18 months. They live in glorious display in a cardboard box. Aiwa HS-J09, J9, J600, J36, J369, J10. All have Aiwa 2ME-7 mechanism. All were bought in poor to good condition. Everything* works on all of them except the one that was too ruined to ever run again, and which became my donor unit. All are in good to excellent cosmetic condition. I took them out of the box for the photos.

*All run on DC-in power, most have been tested with batteries. Two have minor w&f in reverse play and the equalizer on one is 20% dysfunctional. None have been tested for recording.

I have an intent to post how to fix these Aiwa's. About a year ago I discussed the cosmetic repairs.

Those are nice looking but I haven't found one yet. I just posted a magazine ad with them down in the AIWA Ad Thread!

Not sure what you meant by not having found one yet. They come up on auctions regularly.

Nice Aiwa ad you posted of the closely related models from 1986.
