From 1991, since Techmoan is on a radio bender I left this one in, it was pretty expensive back then even though it looks like bottom of the line. I'd probably go with the AIWA at double the price even though it's also BOTL.

From 1991, Radio's Favorite Radio! Big money and it looks huge, I don't have any eggs so I don't know how large they got.

Yes, I had one - it's the top Cobra, a very good JDM machine, and a big one.
I'd say one of pinnacles of Matsushita portables ever,
one of the most technically sophisticated along with the RX-T95.
    "Swan song".

I've been close to getting one but never pulled the trigger.

Already 10 years ago someone nailed a new boxed one in Japan.
28 bids, $365 was the winning price.

From 1982, this says AIWA at the beginning but there's a Sanyo at the end. I'm guessing Sanyo, the buttons look like they're from the "C" Series. I bet this looks fantastic in red!

From 1972, one of Hitachi's First "Boomboxes." The top box is kind of cool because it is slot loaded but there's no radio.

From 1974, it looks like Hitachi had a National Peridisco Day tied in with bikes?

Judging by indexes RD I am also guessing a Sanyo but must be a rare one, could it track it down in the net.
