Oh, yes, there was a lot back then. I sold these units at a local stereo store in my hometown from 1983 to 1986—mostly Sony and Aiwa. I still remember the first cassette I listened to in my first TPS-L2, "Dare" by the Human League. It was the first cassette I purchased when I started collecting them again.
