I'm very Happy to have signed up to the site-so many useful tips and invaluable information to keep our tapes turning! Found my old tapes and original Sony Wm-75 sports walkman in my parents attic and had to get it working again-it was a steep learning curve for a novice but once it was done I started collecting (and repairing) these other Sonys from the 8o's. I've done basic repairs such as belts, cosmetics, pinch rollers and some circuitry. Happy to help fellow members where I can. A couple of pics of my (modest) collection so far, I hope you like them!
Great collection, it's nice how 30 year old products still look fresh and exciting. I wonder how people will feel in another 30 years?
Yea I've been picking up random newer products, mostly digital cameras but not many. I'd love to find old MP3 players but it's hard, I feel like there's billions hidden in desk drawers, tucked away for the memories.
yes! I’m happy our generation kept all these Walkmans in drawers all around the world too-and out of landfills!
