I wonder if Yoko were in any way inspired by the Sharp QT50 (which my sister bought new back when it came out). https://www.fabcollectibles.com/audio/cassette/sharp-qt50.html
i like how you give home to all those boxes, most other collectors wouldn‘t even have a proper look at
Picked this up from a boot sale whilst on holiday not my usual bag and no idea what it has to do with aviation but thought it looked cool its build date on its base says 1998, its a Spirit of St Louis, Ryan NX-211 Mk2
Latest score are these ‘Car Party’ Pioneer TS Z80 portable speakers from 1981, they are a standalone item for connecting to car or boombox audio Found this online from the original box (sadly I don’t have the box) Edited cos I can’t spell properly
Unrelated I also got brought a kenwood stack system which I have been waiting for the right one to come up, to be fair I only use the deck/cd and amp but packs a punch I’m searching to find the graphic equalizer that’s in the original flyer I do however have the remote https://hifi-wiki.com/index.php/Kenwood_A-62 also picked this lot up but I only wanted the Pioneer PD-F1009 300 disc changer lol
I love those speakers, any of the rare accessories do it for me. On a related note, I also picked up a couple midi systems that I'll have to post, a Mitsubishi with a shiny front and a JVC that kind of looks good.
In the 1980s you would have been the coolest Montego driver in town with those bolted to your rear parcel shelf Of course now you probably are the only Montego driver in town. https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/family/austin_austin_montego?make=austin
