    Picked this up from a boot sale whilst on holiday not my usual bag and no idea what it has to do with aviation but thought it looked cool

    its build date on its base says 1998, its a Spirit of St Louis, Ryan NX-211 Mk2

    Latest score are these ‘Car Party’ Pioneer TS Z80 portable speakers from 1981, they are a standalone item for connecting to car or boombox audio

    Unrelated I also got brought a kenwood stack system which I have been waiting for the right one to come up, to be fair I only use the deck/cd and amp but packs a punch

    I love those speakers, any of the rare accessories do it for me.

    On a related note, I also picked up a couple midi systems that I'll have to post, a Mitsubishi with a shiny front and a JVC that kind of looks good.

    In the 1980s you would have been the coolest Montego driver in town with those bolted to your rear parcel shelf :hi
