Hey everyone, after rediscovering my old Marantz 53 series boombox component stereo in a 'memories' box, I started googling and it seems the only people who know they even exist are in this forum! I bought this new as a teenager, and have had many other curiosities over the years that didn't last. Very keen to connect with anyone who remembers these units or has had experience with them, and can fill me in on some tech details around powering up since the original PS does not seem to have survived.
I have three marantz lol things and videos of all of them... Yes very KEEN to SEE what this is a aka of and since there are no pictures of what this is perhaps you could post some to here and then we can know a lot more of what you have and you know an picture is worth a thousand words but as there is no picture here. So only have a few words....
