Hiya. Found this place from pocket calculator. Mostly just curious about one model I have, but might stick around if I end up getting more into cassette players. Been a while since I've been on an old fashioned forum.
Hi @KTCorsair and welcome aboard , yes certainly we are old fashioned by all accounts , most of us have triple your age ! We have slow reflections also compared to lightning fast other social media like insta etc. BUT we can help for sure just tell us what model you have and what kind of help you need.
I've never been much of a fan for most social media, honestly! I've always felt more at home on various forums than tiktok/instagram/whatever else. I always like learning, and I find forums like this tend to contribute a lot more to that. Also when you like things like cassette players and vintage fountain pens, forums like this tend to be the best place to go.
Since you are already interested for a cassette player you'll find here a lot of interesting stuff from repairs to collecting, history , rare models everything and it's fun. It's a nice hobby and these days a lot of young people become more and more interested on physical media like records and cassettes , holding a record sleeve or a cassette your music gains identity is more personal it's not another streaming file anymore. Having said that it doesn't mean , personally speaking , that I don't use also mp3 players for convenience or Hi Res players for optimum modern music experience , it depends on the mood.
