I have replied to your pm, but for the benefit of others...

Until I have the first batch in hand and ready to ship, I am not taking orders. The reason for this is that I want to launch the cases on the analogueoctober website in the proper manner, making it easier to track. Taking orders via PM could easily lead to confusion if every passionate DD owner wants one. Plus, whilst I have yet to announce these over at Tapeheads, I no doubt will when all my ducks in a row... and then I'd have two batches of PM's to monitor.

At the moment, I am looking at an ebay page embedded into the website, so postage etc is all taken into account, as well as other considerations.

Anyway, glad your liking it. I honestly cant wait to get them out there and see your DD units in them!

PS: The only revision now needed is to have the external power supply hole widened a smidge and dropped 13mm. A minor misunderstanding on the back of the last notes from me.
They have also addressed those nasty ball type studs and fully lined the inside so all studs are covered, and your DD body subsequently protected from scuffs etc

The window is gorgeous. If you have been using an original case that has either cracked, yellowed or missing, this window is going to raise more than a smile. It looks and feels better than the original (which was always my main objective)

 

AutoReverser just PM'd me and raised an interesting question. He wants to use the case for a non DD wm-5.

With that in mind, I will be doing a limited run of 5-10 non embossed cases as well to go with the 50 embossed cases.

So for all you non DD users with Walkmans that use the classic DD case layout, there is also that option (albeit in limited numbers for the first batch).

 

Thought I would show you one of my fave units. I have had it for about ten years. Came from a Sony service centre, brand new with a full suite of boxed spares for the unit and the headphones. I never used it, because it was so new, I didnt want to spoil it. However, it sits so well in the new case that I think its going to get a lot of use now.

The light box is all set up at my studio, I will be taking a few cases out for photography and share the end results tomorrow. Then I need to sort out the store page on the blog. Given my current workload, I hope that will all be in place for the weekend.

I have also decided to include a couple of the new Sony Stickers with cases as a bonus.
