      Both feature sapphire-deposited diaphragms and LC-OFC cable by Hitachi.
      The sound is incredible, excellent bass response and very balanced tone. When I say bass response I don’t mean overpowering lows, I mean good reproduction of low frequencies. It’s not quite flat but goes below 20Hz.
      Though, being an Aiwa, of course the lows are deep, deep, deep, deep...

      @Virgil Gheorghiu , I second that. Although the V743 were uncomfortable for my ears. I had a V99 too which was a bit too small. :)
      I'd like to get a V99 again, although I think the V743's bass was even better. In every other parameter, the V99 was better, but the
      bass was more aesthetic and went deeper with the V743.
