      Definetely not related. Pioneer had only one mechanism which is shared among its 3 walkmans (with small differences): PK-3, PK-5AW/R7AW, PK-F9.
      This Pioneer mechanism is similar to the AIWA HS-J02, with the latter having normal FF/REW buttons.
      The only similarity between the Pioneer and Toshiba KT-AS1/AS2 would be the FF/REW buttons being the table reels themselves.

      Yes, i have seen them inside and they are different. The most similar is this squer pattern, colorisation, fw, rew buttons.
