      Would DeOxit do the job? I'd be worried about trying to remove the springs in case they broke. They look very brittle! Any tips would be most welcome!

      Wowzers. I had a Sony wm-10 that must have had a battery sit in it since it was made. All of the electronics connected directly to the batery terminal were just dust.
