Oh god my ears! Have you identified whats causing that ungodly sound? Cracked nylon gear, broken plastic ect.
@Xjmczar Hi, I have to bent the arm of the center gear it seems... but I still have to figure out how.
@ML4949 Thats unfortunante but also somewhat relieving? ): If its the metal arm which is bent that means hopefully you can bend it back, better than having an irreplaceable broken plastic bits. I assume you're going to go back inside to bend it back into place?
@Xjmczar Hi there, I can’t find the right angle to bend the arm, unfortunately. I’ll have to look for a replacement center gear...
I had the same problem on a DD2 with a perfect center gear (even without the crack) and in a different DD2 it plays fine. So for me it was a differnt part of the mechanism, but I did not figure it out which part because I used it as a parts only unit. So maybe it isn't the center gear, like in my case.
