This walkman looks interesting ! Do you have more information about where it comes from ? What headphones are plugged into it ?

V&D (Vendex KBB), was a Dutch warehouse chain that went bankrupt a few years ago. It looks like it is rebadged player, @autoreverser might be able to tell which one it closely resembles?

Sorry for the late reply. This is indeed a Vroom en Dreesman walkman. To my knowledge the first walkman they sold. If memory still serve's me right ....1983. This is my second one and it still works just fine. A bit crackling through the volume knobs but nevertheless still works. Original belt still fitted. Very sturdy player and good quality (at least for me). I have not seen any other V&D walkmans here and this is proberbly a very rare item to find. Only thing missing is the fake leather casing.
