Rogue wire was removed. Any guesses as to why the motor would not go but the LEDs were on?

      The component between the red and brown wire that gets power to the motor is fried?

      No. It's going now. The problem is with contact switches and flexing of the really thin PCB. I had to use some packing to stop the board from flexing.
