JVC KD-2 Portable Stereo Cassette Deck

This one is special, because it didn't just arrive to me not working and broken on so many different levels, but COMPLETELY SHATTERED. The subframe appears to be made of very very brittle plastic or at least a plastic that didn't age very well. Perhaps an attic junk. This is after 30odd hours later

      One of my favorites but it's hard to imagine how large they are unless there's something sitting next to it.

      Mine runs and plays, it's a little roached but it still looks impressive. Mine had panhead wood screws holding it together, I wonder if the brittle plastic broke and they just wanted it back together?

      @Mister X apparently it was the last of an old stock, I can only guess it was in service with some pro in Rome. I also have a Technics 646D (to be restored!) which is definitely bigger than this one.
