      Belts: Marian-sourced main belt, original intermediate belt (motor to pulley). Marian's is way too thin.

      AN6612S: new Motor speed adjustment IC (old one was burned) at far right. I didn't have a 1Ω SMD protection resistor, sorry, the bottom one should do just fine. Not terribly protecting anymore at 0.25W, I hope the owner won't power it at more than 3V (again) .

      I also replaced some SMD capacitors, and the volume control because it was not equal in both channels.
      The Sanyo-powered LA4571M head pre-amp / headphone amp is very powerful with good frequency reproduction and not much distortion. Matsushita's own AN7375NS Dolby processor is on the better-side of noise reduction implementations.

      Not shown are the XBS active parametric low frequency booster and the 3-band EQ placed in the cassette lid.
      XBS sounds awesome, EQ is crappy at 300Hz and decent at 1kHz and 10kHz.
