    Anyone know which terminals are the dc input....i.e. is the middle + and outer - or the other way round

    The centre pin is minus the outer is plus Dave .

    I've never understood that weird pin out of the DC connector: the rest of the world uses the centre pin as + and the outer ring as - or ground.
    But them being Sony they had to make it different, with the result of many frying their walkman when using a standard 3 V power supply.
