    Hi,

Proud owner of a GF777 24 hours ago, needed some retail therapy.

Very excited and already have it in pieces on the dining table, and hoping I can get some help from yourselves repairing a buzzing noise, thats pretty much all it does.

I may have bitten off more than I can chew

Nice choice. Might just need all the contacts cleaning. And welcome from up North :)

    Cheers Gents.

How time flies, I started dismantling this beast early evening and it was almost dawn before I realised the time!

It might be too late to give you this advice but try and take plenty of photos as you are dismantling.
Then you have something to refer to when you are trying to work out which bit goes where.

Welcome Jet, a GF777 is a hell of a way to make an entrance.

I have a PDF of deck rebelting if you need it, the power switch it a bit flaky on the 777 by the way, it will require a major clean straight away but sometimes the little pins break inside and it requires a replacement. The buzzing may be cured by cleaning all pots and record bar. These are quite robust so im sure it will be fixed up just fine
