Kind words gents and nice to hear from you again Deech. I often think of you up on the hill, I have such strong memories of Athens.

I ove my CFS-100 dearly but I'm struggling to find a good place for it where it can get some love. So far it's been a real conversation starter.

Weirdest boombox I have ever seen... and extremely original even as a combo. A thing of beauty. And what a wonderful gesture from NevOne :)

I recently picked up one of these too. Very good quality tuner. The speakers are amazing, very solid and heavy for their size. They need re-foaming, of course. It came with the carry case, some microphone cables, a car charger, and the manuals.

Reli, is the case to make it portable or just protection while it isn't sitting on a shelf, I'm guessing the car charger makes it portable but it's hard to tell from the box . Great find, hopefully there's more out there.

How can you not like the piston cassette "book-ends". The options are priceless, I wonder how many are left out there and such a great design for 1978, Sony was way ahead of the curve and really thought out they're product line back then.

Holy cow, did you see the price for the CFM-800 a few brochures down? The most expensive cassette player of 1978?....a little mini at over $500 USD.
