there's short ad-clips running on german tv for a lotterie - it's different short-stories playing in a little kiosk - unfortunately i can't find'em f.ex. on youtube yet - there's allways a box in the back - can you spec it ?
I only found this one German Commercial but it reminds me of my car affectionately called the runt...
It's in the back seat cuz somebody put a sh*ty aftermarket pos in the dash! I got sidetracked looking for your commercial and I'm a sucker for E30's!
they getting rarer, too - it's just that they've got such bad suspension, not a sportscar at all - a matey of mine had a 325 back in the 80'es and when i drove it 1st. time at higher speed i thought it'll throw me outa track (!) i preferred in those days my good old AlfaRomeo's (type 105: Giulia, Berlina, Spider and Bertone Coupé), they were faster anyway...
A former boss of mine learn’t the hard way why you should never try to “follow” a Ford Cougar in a BMW of that age. While he got to work first it was through the fence having spun off the roundabout at the far end of the site. Luckily the only things that got damaged were the car, the fence and his pride.
Here is a man of quality but please consider the E9 eventually i will get one ! I am off topic but sorry i cannot hide i am a petrolhead & driver of a fast car with some track time. The alfa is actually a sacrilege engine swap from a nissan but consider 350 hp on a 800 kilo car.......
I grew up in the auto belt so the word on the street was every import was a POS. I always loved the import styling better and most domestic cars really started to decline in the mid 70's. A buddy of mine always drove Alfa's but over here a hint of winter roads with salt was death to those cars, 3-5 years before the rust ate anything holding them together. I love my E30 runt because it's extremely easy to work on, there's still a ton of parts for them and it's my only stick shift which makes it twice as fun as an automatic even with it's meager HP.
i am certain i am off topic but i can be more than happy witnessing as a kid the first E30 motorsport that actually made it in Greece and was owned by a friends dad,and believe me there were very few if not one in whole Greece. However i do not consider myself a "bimmer" fan but have high respects to old bmws especially the 2004 M3 which i consider a true rival to my monster,an evo viii 4g63 2006 (slowly becoming a classic) Nowdays bmw is just frustrating especially with the upcoming toyota marriage(and do not get me started on the mitsubishi renault nissan concept bahhhh). The only rescued model is the new m2 coupe by Manhart a true street legal racing car.(too highly priced for what you actually get for the buck) Automotion is dead,so dead like the new ghettoblasters created today and we be all driving on batteries in the near future which i rather find embarrassing. Ps:Alfas were never ment to last only to have fun with or die in it
...sorry, my friend - but this is absolute bullshit - the legendary Alfa twin-cam-engine (produced for a few decades !) properly serviced lasts forever. the era with non-lasting Alfa's only started when Fiat took over (mid/late 70'es). Alfa just got this bad image because most off'em got terribly abused by their drivers. ...maybe off-topic: does anybody recognize the box in the first post here ?
Haha i did not speak of engine.....but the underfloor the door handles the console and pretty much anything peripheral to the car and the chassis that gave its life in order to save the driver....maybe also the 5 bucks electrics do not get me wrong i badly want a junior coupe at some point just i do not carry so much cash with me And yes after the "Avvocato" Gianni Agnelli (praise his name) purchased pretty much anything in Italy concerning cars he had to massively produce scrap cars to the masses and disguise them as good cars so came the fiat 127 bertone regata uno and other scrap metal. But his son is even worse selling the fiat 500 on a panda chassis made in Poland for gold.A true italian vagabondo success story. Here is a good article https://www.alfaholics.com/articles/retro-cars-modifying-your-105-series-alfa-2/ Off topic: Panasonic rx series or a aka cobra? maybe? Frohe Weihnachten und alles Gute im Neuen Jahr von einem ehemaligen Koblenzer!
