Haven't seen that film yet, think I'm definitely going to have to now. It's strange that he's got all of this great equipment, but he's using cheap Maxell UR90s.

That card machine in baby driver was on techmoan I think, it’s a language learning tool which records 2 second voice samples onto large paper cards. Magical

Thanks for the video. I've already seen it the very same day he released it. I love it!

As mentioned by Speedy in another thread, there is a WM-22 in Netflix's 'Dark'.

There's another walkman in episode 7, I'm not sure about the model:

Hmm, looks like an AIWA P07 but mirrored. Maybe it's another brand that was also inspired in this design...

If you mirror it has the shiny chunk on the wrong side , although looking it does look logical that its that model, I was convinced it was a Toshiba but cant find a model similar.

National Lampoon's European Vacation train scene has a view of the son's cassette player.

Could it be a silver Aiwa TP-S30? Overall shape reminds of a Sony TPS-L2. Can't seem to get a better view of it though. Might as well be a JVC CQ-1k. Or was it a Toshiba KT-S3?
A somewhat usable closeup is visible at 1:06 and later on when Clark grabs it in annoyance. The backside seems to be black however.
If anyone knows what it is, that'd be neat!

Also does this thread include animes or just real footage? Someone once linked me a some brand-new show I've never heard of before and the protagonist seems to own a walkman, which she uses for whatever purposes, not sure if it's a central plot device there.

Anyone mentioned Guardians of the Galaxy? AKA the sole reason the TPS-L2 is astronomically priced now

Aha! You didnt forgot the most ‘evil’ torture committed in a movie by Marty McFly with his rare Aiwa HF-S07.

“This Aiwa Walkman used during the production of the first film can be seen in one of the main scenes of the film, where Marty has to convince George to invite Lorraine to the Incanto Ball Under the Sea, pretending to be "Darth Vader" and threatening him to "melt his brain" to the sound of Van Halen's music...... In addition to this very nice scene, Marty wears the Walkman for most of the initial sequences of the film set in 1985. There are only two copies of this Aiwa Walkman used by the production, purchased directly from the "Property Master Jhon Zemansky", the other specimen is exhibited together with the second Anti-Radiation suit in California - United States.”

(Translation from 024 Walkman Aiwa di Marty McFly – Back To The Future Museum Italia)

Edit: just looked that in your gallery
