    Hi all!

I've bought an 'ok condition' wm-dd9 from ebay, mainly because my current (in good condition) unit had trouble playing in 1 direction. It seems that the mechanism has got a small issue, i could go in detail if you're interested :) It also needs 2 capstan rings, but I'm waiting on Marian to sell those (he's working on it)

My problem is: the ebay unit actually has a broken hinge. Does anybody have experience fixing this? Or are there spare parts available (I'm guessing not). I have no clue how to 'glue' it. I've read about JB weld, but I have not worked with that before and don't want to mess it up beforehand. It seems that this part is under a lot of stress.

If anybody's got some pointers on where to start that would be great!

I've fixed it with JB Weld, and it seems to hold up. The issue playing in 1 direction also seems to have solved itself... If anyone needs details I can post them here, but not a lot of people seem to have these

If you have any problems in the future with the auto-reverse or anything, you can always send dottor walkman a PM, he fixed mine a while ago including fabricating a new door hinge for it.

A few people on here do have the DD9, i never use mine as my default units are the D6C and DC2. For me the D6C and DC2 just sound better.
