Bought this a couple of years ago cheap, 'Works Perfect' trumpeted the Ebay advert..........It didn't! Down on one channel sadly & it was only cos it was in such a nice condition that saved it!! February 2018 & another 7080 arrived with broken tape deck as advertised, I thought it was worth £5 as the amp & tuner worked albeit with very dirty switches & pots - hardly an issue though! We now have a nice little part of early 1980's history fully working & not bad build quality either......... I love the pure 80's design & lots of silver & chrome, this is never going to light up in the the world of boomboxes - but it can now join the many repaired stereo boomers in my walk in cupboard.......
