    Won this little beauty on Ebay for a mere 30 Lb's :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:

    One of my fastest repairs yet - Just 90 mins to rebelt & clean her up...........

    This is really minty & sounds excellent for a Hitachi, really high build quality & so easy to sort out.........

    Very unusual early 80's track with a strange 'Backwards Intro' & one of 10 songs on the album all of which are excellent!!

    Somebody took care of that thing for close to 40 years, it looks like it just came out of the box. You do a great job of keeping the little cotton floaters off the box for the photos, someday I'll figure that out.

    That was a good find. I assume it was the one in Ringwood just a few miles from here.
    Seperate Phono and Line in inputs is a neat feature.

    If it came with the BEAB tag I hope you kept it. With that on it looks as if it had come straight from the factory.

    Yes it is that one Longman, tag binned, I never keep those bloody things they just annoy me!! lol

    I agree though it does indicate that the machine was well looked after..........

    It is really minty I love it :wink:

    I used to covet this boomer, with it's EQ, Dolby, detachable speakers & those looks (very fashionable then, now classic 80s), but then I listened to it alongside the 3D7...
