Hey guys picked this up at lunch time. Anyone know if they made a gold Conion tc999? Before I get to cleaning. Thanks we'll test it it soon.
Thanks. Cleaned up nice. Going to have to do something about those speaker rings. Not feeling the green. Lol. Fired her up and right speakers worked barely any volume on left. This was at work. After cleaning and bringing her home it was the opposite. Left speakers worked. Well, I know they both work.. cuts out when I adjust anything or turn it up. So there's a loose connection somewhere. Should be fun. And cassette motors work just need belts. This was the most expensive box yet.but not by much
I need to find one of those, I have no problem with finding crusty units, sometimes they are pretty satisfying to clean up. Are the trim surrounds made of metal or is the plating just corroding?
Thanks. It cleaned up real nice, except for the speaker rings. Sounds great! My girl even asked how she can plug in her phone on this one. Was playing Talking Heads and my band Pink Floyd while making breakfast and cleaning
I'm starting to agree Reli. It looks great, sounds better. Big bass and the highs sound great. Play it all the the time,(daily) at quarter volume and the sound just fills the place. While is not a c100 I'm thrilled to own it. Big, golden, great sound and looks like the grail. Only half the wattage, but rarely do I get to blast my boxes. And it's rare. Now if only someone knew the belt sizes...
