I agree. NevOne has a lot of stuff I've seen in pics but never to touch. Apart from the Telefunken which really was a gem there are some real greats here. Yes the CFS-99, also the slightly smaller and equally as interesting CFS-77 plus a couple of glorious tiny Sony ZX-7's
NevOne has a fantastic collection, and yes I know the CFS-77 is a lovely unit (I am so lucky to own one) but I've never seen the CFS-99 or a ZX and I'd love to! Btw excellent shots, thanks for documenting the event. Unpacking those boxes must have been like digging the hidden treasure of the pyramids...
AO, you forgot about the zx3's Thank you for posting the pictures! To give a little background, they were taken at the day of day1 of unboxing. The amount of cardboard was as high as the ceiling and we both were exhausted. We took the boxes out in the order they were stacked, so no actually particular order.... After day 1 I put them aside and Cris helped me with getting rid of the cardboard...just to make room for more boxes . I don't think we took pictures on the second or third day.
So...since my last post I did some work, still at my own pace and still wile doing other house work too...but that does not qualifies for this topic. I covered the stairs with wood Then I finished (somehow, I should still do some things to it) my electrical system I did some chairs for the man cave out of car seats I purchased the wood for making the shelves (now it dries) And I did a library for my cassettes (and other media) Work is still in progress....
I am still missing the shelves for the boomboxes, it's gonna be a lot of work for those as well as I am thinking of doing something different from the usual "boxes in a row" type of thing...but the air hokey table is a good idea, I would like one, perhaps later tho...
As others have been telling you here, NevOne, sir: your hard work, with you steadily applying yourself, is paying off. The work of the contractors also paid off when they erected the building, to begin with. (Though let me ask here: Car seats turned into mobile chairs -- on caster-wheel oak crates?)
I'm impressed with your work to obtain more space for your cassette addiction!! I wish this for me, at the moment i have one bedroom and my girlfriend house (with limitations) greetings!! Estoy impresionado con tu trabajo para obtener espacio adicional para tu adicción al cassette!! Deseo ésto para mi, de momento tengo un dormitorio y la casa de mi novia de forma limitada. Saludos!!
